Pastor Kim Stidum
Pastor Kim Kernita Stidum Born and raised in Chicago, IL to Juanita & Ilandus Williams. Kim is the seventh born of ten children. Married to Douglas J. Stidum Sr. on January 12, 1986, her best birthday gift ever. Married to date for 35 years plus. This was a love at first sight union. They met at a Burger King softball practice, when Kim saw Douglas for the first time, it was as if Douglas hit a home run in Kim’s heart and knocked the ball clear out of the ball field. They have four beautiful and intelligent daughters and two son-in-laws, Curnita (Author Taylor Jr.), Quanita, MarQuita (Alexander Ayettey) and Zieynita, one handsome and intelligent son, Douglas Jr., two awesome and handsome grandsons, Chrisani and Alexander Jr., one precious and adorable granddaughter, Keiva.
Pastor Kim became a member of formally named Portland Miracle Revival Church at the age of 18 in 1982 (39 years ago). She was ordained as a minister at the age of 33. She has served in various departments in the church such as finance, ushers, choir, praise team, custodial, hospitality, outreach, decorations, project manager, elderly care centers, pastor’s aide, the governmental 12, Sunday school, drama, and dance team. Kim’s passion is the outreach ministry, feeding the hungry and the drama department. On December 30, 2018 she was ordained as the Outreach Pastor of ROCC. From 1998-2003, Pastor Kim had her own braiding, weaving and natural hair care business called “Women’s Glory Hair Boutique”.
Pastor Kim has worked for Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office for nearly 18 years, serving as a Corrections Deputy for the last year and a half and counting. Pastor Kim enjoys and loves her family, traveling, bike riding, cooking, and decorating especially for special events! Pastor Kim gives all the glory and honor to her Heavenly Father, God Almighty, for every blessing and accomplishment in her life. “For I am nothing and have nothing without Christ in my life.”
